This song essentially played as on TBBYNHIYL, accounting for obvious differences in instrumentation, and with the standard deviation coming in Frank’s solo. Also, like all versions of this song other than the ’88 one, there were vocals. While they occasionally changed at the whim of FZ and the band, the standard set of 3 lyrics was simply “Heavy Duty Judy,” chanted over the main theme.
This cover was performed by Gabor – drums, guitars, bass, keyboards, marimba, rendering ♦ ZW – horns ♦ Martin Luther King – had a dream
FZ albums in which song has appeared:
- Shut Up ‘N Play Yer Guitar (1980) as Heavy Duty Judy, performed in Berkeley, December 5, 1980
- quoted in Chalk Pie (1988), performed in Salt Lake City, December 7, 1981
- The Best Band You Never Heard In Your Life (1991) as Heavy Duty Judy, performed in Wurzburg & Rotterdam, 1988

Very interesting and as usual fantastic guitar playing. I have a question. Is the Miles Davis “So What” intro sampled or is it played by you guys?
Finally the bit at the end when it goes acoustic sounds interesting pity it fades out.

HI Gabor,
Cool tracks. I like your Twenty Small Cigars. Any chance you have a chart or a mid file to share?
Hope to hear from your soon.
